Excel Dryer has manufactured commercial hand dryers in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts since 1963. After Denis Gagnon acquired the company in 1997, Excel developed their patented XLERATOR hand dryer, which was introduced in 2001 and helped establish the high-speed, energy-efficient hand dryer category. The company remains family-run and continues to manufacture its products in the United States.
