Features: Frost code 878-500 is a case of 4 internal plastic disposable biomedical sharps containers. They are designed for use in Frost code 878 stainless steel sharps disposals. Please consult local guidelines for proper discarding of disposable internal containers. Suitable for discarding of: needles, syringes, blades, pins, gauze, and cotton balls. These containers are designed and certified to exceed penetration requirements for all applicable international standards.
Materials: Made from high quality plastic.
Capacity: Plastic disposable container has a capacity of 4 liters (4.23 qt).
Loading Instructions: Place internal plastic container’s mouth into the bottom of the inlet tube and slide the base of the container onto the bottom of the holder. Please ensure the lid is to either side of the plastic disposable container to ensure the door closes properly.
Installation: Install into Frost code 878 stainless steel sharps disposal, see “Loading Instructions” above.
Maintenance: Maintenance staff should periodically inspect internal container’s fullness based on site usage. If it has reached capacity, then remove and dispose of according to local guidelines. Replace with unused internal container (code 878-500).
